SUPPORT GROUPS

We offer several support groups for patients and families. These groups are a great way to get feedback from others who are going through, or have gone through, what you are experiencing. Many individuals and families have benefited from our support groups over the years. Being surrounded by others who are facing the same challenges can be extremely comforting. Our support groups are facilitated by The Center due to the generous funding of the Children's Growth Foundation and Variety Club of WNY.
GENDER DYSPHORIA SUPPORT GROUP

We offer Gender Dysphoria support groups for our clients, parents and siblings of the Center. Gender Dysphoria is a persistent unease with having the physical characteristics of one's gender, accompanied by strong identification with the opposite gender and a desire to live as or to become a member of the opposite gender. The groups are designed to share helpful information in a confidential and welcoming setting.
