Hi, I’m Willow! As both a Mental Health Counselor and Board-Certified Music Therapist, my work has been defined by a commitment to creativity, authenticity, and providing a personalized space for young people to feel heard. I chose this path because of my strong belief in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the honor of being a part of it.
My background in music therapy has shaped my ability to use creative tools to meet my clients exactly where they are. Our brains and bodies respond to the world around us in complex ways. I aim to work alongside children and teens to figure those patterns out together. I take a holistic approach by looking at the whole picture of a client’s life, from their internal experiences to their surrounding world and relationships. I am dedicated to supporting them as they move through the weight life may bring. Together, we can build the tools they need to feel safe, capable, and resilient.
When a client is in the therapy space with me, autonomy always comes first. Whether using music, art, play, talking, or even silence, my goal is to help them reach their unique goals. It is a genuine privilege to be alongside young people as they discover their strengths and who they truly are, and it would be an equal privilege to walk that path with the next young person who enters this space.
