Marvin Henchbarg, MAT, MSEd

Outreach Coordinator

Hi, I’m Marvin Henchbarg. I use she/her pronouns, and my passion lies in supporting families and queer youth as they navigate identity, connection, and healing. For many years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside countless families in the LGBTQIA+ community, helping them strengthen communication, build understanding, and create safe, affirming environments where young people can truly thrive.

My work has always been rooted in the belief that every person, especially every young person, deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported for who they are. I understand the challenges families may face as they learn, grow, and adjust together, and I approach each family with compassion, patience, and an open heart.

In my role as an Outreach Coordinator, I’ve had the opportunity to connect communities with resources, education, and emotional support. These experiences have given me extensive knowledge of the LGBTQIA+ landscape, community needs, and the barriers that many families encounter. My goal has always been to bridge those gaps—to ensure that no young person or caregiver ever feels alone or unsure of where to turn.

What brings me joy is watching families move from confusion or fear into understanding and acceptance. I love helping young people feel empowered in their identities, and I love supporting parents and caregivers as they learn how to walk beside them with love and confidence.

If you’re looking for someone who will meet you without judgment, offer guidance with warmth, and celebrate your family’s journey with you, I’m here. It would be an honor to support you.
